The MPK series of performance controllers combine quality keyboard feel, MPC pads, Q-Link controls, and MPC production technologies with a convenient MIDI-over-USB interface. The MPK88 is a fully weighted 88-key controller with MPC pads, an Akai Professional exclusive, that are pressure and velocity-sensitive to capture every nuance of your creative input. MPC Note Repeat enables the MPK to automatically perform a rhythm pattern, such as 16th notes, for accuracy and speed. MPC Swing, sometimes referred to as "the heart and soul of hip-hop," turns perfectly aligned sequences into human-feeling time alignments. The MPK series, including the 25-key MPK25, works with most MIDI recording, sequencing, and performance software for musical performers from keyboard players to producers to DJs and even VJs.
